Intent
To culturally enrich the students of TQEA to allow them to have a cultural and educational understanding of the wider world.

Welcome to the MFL department
Students in KS3 will now only study one language (French or Spanish) as we are working hard to achieve more knowledge depth with our languages. This will allow students to have a firmer understanding of the language by KS4.
We are also increasing our work on phonics and oracy within languages and giving the students more real-world examples to show them how languages will work in the wider world.
What are we most proud of?
We are really proud of how our subject allows our students an insight into the cultures and customs of Spanish-speaking and French-speaking countries which they may never have experienced before.
